AIDS Services Foundation Orange County (ASF)

Now in its 25th year, AIDS Services Foundation Orange County (ASF) was founded by a small, dedicated group of community volunteers to provide support to their friends and loved ones who were dying of AIDS and in desperate need of help. ASF's mission is to prevent the spread of HIV and improve the lives of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Orange County.

Challenged Athletes Foundation

The Challenged Athletes Foundation provides opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. The CAF believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life.

Children's Hospital Orange County

Since opening our doors in 1964, CHOC Children's has provided the highest quality medical care to children. Our regional health system includes a state-of-the-art 238 bed main hospital facility in the City of Orange, a hospital-within-a-hospital in Mission Viejo, and five community clinics - plus over 100 additional programs and services. With admissions growing by 95% since 1998, CHOC and CHOC at Mission combined rank as the 18th busiest children's hospital in the country.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

JDRF is the leader in research leading to a cure for type 1 diabetes in the world. It sets the global agenda for diabetes research, and is the largest charitable funder and advocate of diabetes science worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Since its founding in 1970, JDRF has funded more than $1.4 billion in diabetes research.

Mammoth Track Project

Andrew and Deena Kastor have teamed with the Town of Mammoth Lakes to put in an all-weather track and field facility. Although this project started with a running focus, we hope to lure training camps of other sports to come to Mammoth for team building and conditioning. Our motto is 'Elevate your fitness. Stay on track' because we believe running fitness breeds success in all other sports. As we look to promoting health and fitness through running on a global level.

March of Dimes - Orange County

The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy to save babies and in 2003 launched a multi-year campaign to address the increasing rate of premature birth.

The Hall Steps Foundation

The Hall Steps Foundation aims to empower the running community to use the energy and resources that fuel runners' athletic achievements for social justice efforts. Currently in its first year of operation, the Steps Foundation funds initiatives that tackle structural causes of poverty such as chronic lack of access to basic entitlements including clean water, shelter and physical security.

United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County

Founded in the early 1950s by parents and volunteers to serve the needs of children with cerebral palsy, UCP of Orange County now serves children with all types of developmental disabilities and provides vital support to families. Each year, we provide services to over 3,800 people. Our mission is to help children with disabilities reach their full potential, improve the quality of life for their families, and foster an attitude of acceptance and inclusion.
